Liesbeth Simone Peroti (artiestennaam: Lisibeti) is een veelzijdig Surinaams podiumkunstenares, geboren op 23 juli 1969 in Paramaribo. Ze is actief als zangeres (sopraan), pianiste, dirigente, producente, muziekpedagoge, actrice en regisseuse.

- Ze begon op zevenjarige leeftijd met muziekles en studeerde later klassieke piano en muziekpedagogie aan het Rotterdams Conservatorium.
- Ze volgde aanvullende studies in compositie, etnomusicologie, muziektheater en artistiek management in onder andere Jamaica, de VS en Ghana.

- Sinds 1998 is ze artistiek directeur van Lisibeti Music Performing Arts (LMPA), een NGO in Suriname die zich richt op muziek-, dans- en dramaproducties, educatie en culturele ontwikkeling.
- Ze is betrokken bij muziekfestivals (zoals het Piano Festival Paramaribo), NAKS-initiatieven (zoals dirigent van Naks Makeda en het Mannenkoor Harmonie), en is bestuursvoorzitter van de Academie voor Hoger Kunst- en Cultuuronderwijs (AHKCO).
